Enable election environment for all to take ownership-Dr Yadav



Kathmandu, April 7: Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodi Prasad Yadav has called for the government to enable environment of election in a way that all political forces can take stake and ownership.

At a wrap-up programme of two-day training of trainers titled ‘Election management and operation’ organized by the Election Commission at Godabari of Lalitpur on Friday, CEC Dr Yadav urged the government to create environment conducive for election when the EC has stepped up its all-out efforts on polls preparation.

“The EC is undertaking efforts to address the problems being emerged in different parts of the country on election issues”, he said, adding that, “I also request to the government to pay necessary attention on possible security challenges which may vary from place to place”.

CEC Dr Yadav called for all voters, candidates and all civil service employees to confidently fulfill their respective duties for holding election in a successful manner.

Total 42 participants had attended the training and the trained are obligated to impart training to 744 Chief Returning Officers and Returning Officers deputed in the local level election across the country.
