Three die in Rukum jeep accident

Rukum, April 28: At least three persons were killed after a jeep fell off the Thuli Bheri River in Rukum district Friday afternoon.
Police said that three persons died and 11 others were injured after a jeep (Ga 1 Ja 206) met an accident at Pipalchaur of Athbiskot Municipality-14.
According to Police Inspector Thaman Bahadur Rajali, infant Shreejan Budha of Chaurjahari Municipality-8 and Kum Bahadur Basnet, 28, of Sakla-7 in Jajarkot district died in the incident. Identity of the third one is not confirmed yet.
The over-crowded vehicle was heading to Chisapani of Athbiskot Municipality from Chhepari of the same municipality.
The injured are receiving treatment at Jajarkot District Hospital while some others are rushed to Nepalgunj-based hospitals. RSS
