14 injured in jeep accident

Panchthar, July 28: A total of 14 persons were injured in a road accident at Phidim Municipality-4 in Panchthar district on Thursday.
The incident took place when a Tata Sumo (Me 1 Ja 1892) jeep heading towards Memeng from Phidim fell some 60 metres off the road while giving a side to another vehicle coming from the opposite direction, said Chief at the District Police Office, Nakul Pokharel.
Passenger Ramila Khapangi and her baby as well as the jeep driver have been sent out of the district for treatment while other injured are undergoing treatment at Panchthar Hospital.
