NC leader Karki vows to work for wellbeing of people
Itahari, Dec 3 (RSS): Nepali Congress central member and Finance Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said he was committed to addressing aspirations of people for the infrastructure development of southwest part of Sunsari.
He pledged to guarantee employment opportunities for two Plus Two graduates (girls) from the indigenous Uraw community here.
As the part of the election publicity campaign, he held interactions with the people of Haripur and Shreepur area who survived the devastating Koshi flooding.
He vowed to take initiation to address their needs for development provided that he got an opportunity to serve them as the member in the federal parliament.
The then NC President Girija Prasad Koirala had helped them much during the disaster and now he felt that it was his responsibility for their wellbeing.
