Indian national held with fake notes

Surunga (Jhapa), Dec 13 (RSS): An Indian national has been held in possession of 96,000 fake Indian currency notes from Jhapa on Wednesday.

The arrested is Mohhamud Arazaul Karim Miya, 31, of Alamgunj Taalhgachhi, Harischandrapur of West Bengal, India.

Police arrested Miya with 48 fake notes of IC 2,000 denomination from Damak-6.

Further investigation into the incident is underway by putting him behind bar, said Police Inspector Prakash Jabegu.
