Decisions of caretaker govt not acceptable, Oli says 



Pokhara, Jan 26 (RSS): CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused the government of taking decisions to push the State to bankruptcy.

Inaugurating the 13th general assembly and national conference of the Association of Community Radio Broadcasting (ACORAB), he said that all decisions of the incumbent caretaker government would not be accepted.

Saying that the constitution was not an irreversible document, Oli added that decision like country’s division cannot be taken in the name of constitution’s amendment.

Oli also said that the government was attempting to give voluntary retirement to the experienced officials by spending Rs 60 billion from the State coffer at a time when there was a need to recruit new government officials.

Also speaking at the programme, CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara praised the roles of the community radios for social transformation. He added that the new government would unveil programmes to promote the media.

Similarly, Nepali Congress (NC) Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that NC would remain in opposition for five years and wished for the unity of the left alliance.

Likewise, General Secretary of Manish Suman stressed the need to make constitution all- acceptable through its amendment.

Representatives from 300 plus community radios across the country are attending the general assembly in the lake city.
