Two injured in truck plunge

Chitwan, April 14 (RSS): Two persons were injured when a Kathmandu-bound truck (Na 5 Kha 8979) skidded off the road and plunged 500 meters into Trishuli river at Charkilo in Ichhakamana rural municipality-4, Chitwan, today morning.

The identity of the injured-driver of the ill-fated truck and his helper–is yet to be known. They are being treated at Bharatpur Hospital, said the police. Efforts were on to retrieve the truck.
