5.6-magnitude aftershock rocks Kathmandu


 


KATHMANDU, Nov 28: A strong aftershock of the last year’s Gorkha Earthquake jolted Nepal, mainly eastern and central region including Kathmandu Valley, on Monday morning.

According to the National Seismological Center (NSC), it recorded a quake measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale at 5:20 am. The epicenter was located in the border of Ramechhap and Solukhumbu districts.

There are no immediate reports of damage and casualty by the quake.
